An approach to curriculum integration that generates an understanding of themes and
ideas that cut across disciplines and of the connections between different disciplines and their relationship to the real world. It normally emphasizes process and meaning rather than product and content by combining contents, theories, methodologies and perspectives from two or more disciplines.
An engaged learning process whereby students “learn by doing” and by reflecting on the experience. Experiential learning activities can include but are not limited to, hands-on laboratory experiments, internships, practicums, field exercises, study abroad, undergraduate research, and studio performances.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) offers a wide range of subjects, covering a broad spectrum of academic disciplines. Students are required to choose six subjects from the following six groups which are Studies in Language & Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals & Societies, Sciences, Mathematics and, The Arts.
IBDP emphasizes critical thinking and inquiry-based learning expanding our students Breadth of Research and Depth of Knowledge. They are encouraged to explore complex issues and develop analytical skills. This holistic approach prepares students for higher education and equips them with the necessary skills for success in a rapidly changing world.
