BEYOND THE CURRICULUM

Extra-curricular Activities

ISEE offers diverse inclusive extra-curricular activities to nourish our students’ talents and skills. Participating in extra-curricular activities allows students to explore their interests and broaden their horizons. Additionally, these activities provide opportunities to develop leadership skills and improve their social and communication skills as they enjoy their educational experience.

Competitions

Students are encouraged and supported to engage in regional and international competitions where they acquire a better understanding of communication, cooperation, sportsmanship, self-discipline and problem-solving skills.

Community Service Programme

Another aspect of the extra-curricular activities is community service. Students develop a wider perspective of their surroundings through active participation in community service projects. Moreover, their characters develop as socially responsible and active citizens of a global community.
By participating in community services, students support areas in need inside the school and outside. All students in all grade levels are collaboratively working on four main concepts: the environment, food and water crises, special needs and the underprivileged.

Youth Leadership Programme

The Youth Leadership programme aims at developing the student’s skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail and sense of responsibility and more. It creates leaders rather than followers as it helps students adjust their attitudes and values associated with efficient performance and meeting expectations. Finally, it reinforces the student’s sense of belonging to their school community. The tasks students select as part of the youth leadership programme include student buddy, eagle eye, teacher assistant and bullying officer.
